Trying again...
I'm Mary.
I'm 27 years old and well over 300 pounds.  I've never been even close to thin, but I'm going to do it this time.  My career and overall future depends on it.  I really have no self control because I've never learned it, so I'm hoping that this plan works for me.  My food hasn't arrived yet so I'm not really sure what to say now.
I'm sorry for sounding so broken up.  My puppy ran away this morning and I'm forced to stay at work.  I'm so worried I feel sick.  Maybe that will help me lose weight faster.  I don't know.  Thanks for reading.

Hey Mary
Dont get down on yourself! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
you already made the first step by ordering the program. Make sure you get your moneys worth and follow it, it will work, you just have to put in the time and the effort and it will change your life.

This is a great environment so make sure you take full advantage of it. There are many people here who are super supportive and experienced and can answer all of your questions and concerns.

Believe in yourself. This will happen for you, you just have to want it for yourself and do the work.

I am sorry about your puppy, I am sure that is driving you nuts. I am sure you will find him

Take care

I hope you love the NS program as much as I do!
You can totally do this! Take it a day at a time, a meal at a time. Follow all the instructions...you can't go wrong.
Sorry to hear about your puppy...
Best wishes to you!

Hi Mary!
I am like you, I have NO SELF CONTROL! Absolutely zilch. I use to weight close to 300 pounds, I lost nearly 100 pounds but over time have gained half of it back. After I lost the weight the first time I eventually learned self control because I maintained...that gives me hope that I will get self-control back. After I had my son, I lost it again. The good news is NS takes the self-control away because everything is pre-measured.

I told myself for the first 2 weeks I was going to only eat NS and 2 protein shakes and nothing else. I found a great protein shake mix at CVS (their brand). The first few days were hard because I craved food like a fat kid craves cake. I then allowed myself to have a very basic salad with dinner with no calorie or low calorie dressing. With a week under my belt I see a difference in my cravings and self control already!! Last night I ate my soup and skipped the salad and get this...I WAS FULL. Full was not a feeling I felt in the beginning but now I am feeling it! I tell you all that I did because somebody did that to me on my day 2 and it helped me get through the rough patches this past week.

Mary you can do this!

I am sorry to hear about your puppy. I hope he returns safely.

Oh no! Hopefully you find your puppy!!

Welcome and good luck! This REALLY REALLY works... You just have to remember that you are stronger than any craving and you are the only person that controls what you eat. You can do this!!

Welcome Mary. You CAN do this. I was skeptical when I first started a month ago but WE can do this. At first I was hungry but fed my hunger with veggies and low cal dressing and after about a week, I wasn't feeling hungry until it was time to eat the next NS meal. I hope you find your puppy when you get home. Keep in touch.

Oh my god everyone. I really didn't think anyone would read my blog. Thank you all so much for your comments (almost made me cry). I'm doing okay now that I've started for sure, instead of just worrying about it to death.

btw, Oscar is okay now. The police found him shortly after I posted yesterday. We had lots of cuddles after work. :D

Thank you all again <3
